Mélanie Routhier Boudreau — Director, Board of Directors of the Institut du Savoir Montfort

Mélanie Routhier Boudreau is an experienced strategist in management, communications, public relations, and organizational development, with over 20 years of experience in leadership positions within key organizations in Ontario's Francophone community. She brings valuable expertise in strategic positioning, knowledge mobilization, and institutional outreach to the Board of Directors of the Institut du Savoir Montfort (ISM).

As Executive Director of the Mouvement d'implication francophone d'Orléans (MIFO)—a multidisciplinary center offering educational, cultural, artistic, and recreational services in the National Capital Region and Eastern Ontario—she leads with vision and determination the evolution of an essential institution of Ontario's Francophone community. Under her leadership, MIFO has strengthened its influence, diversified its partnerships, and consolidated its essential role in community and cultural development in French Ontario.

Throughout her career, she has held prominent strategic leadership positions, notably as Director of Strategic Communications at the Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO) and as Executive Director of Communications, Development, and Community Engagement at the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO). In these roles, she has led major institutional campaigns, developed innovative growth strategies, and strengthened ties with Francophone communities across the province. A graduate in political science and public administration, Ms. Routhier Boudreau is also recognized for her community involvement. She has been a member of the board of directors of the Regroupement des gens d’affaires de la capitale nationale (RGA) and a member of the Association de l’Hôpital Montfort since 2016. She has also served on the boards of Montfort Renaissance and the Festival franco-ontarien.

Her in-depth knowledge of the socio-economic and political issues facing Canada's Francophone community, combined with her extensive network of contacts, make her a natural ambassador for the ISM's mission. She is driven by the conviction that health research, training, and education are essential to building humane, innovative, and sustainable healthcare systems. Her contribution to the ISM Board of Directors will help strengthen the Institute's role as a driver of knowledge, innovation, and development for Francophone communities here and abroad.
