Mylène Bouzigon (retired lawyer) – Director, Board of Directors of Institut du Savoir Montfort 

Mylène Bouzigon is an experienced lawyer and skilled manager who brings strategic expertise in governance, knowledge management, and public administration to the Board of Directors of the Institut du Savoir Montfort. She has spent more than 35 years of her career with the federal Department of Justice, where she has held senior management positions, including senior general counsel and member of the executive committee of several departments and agencies.   

She has led legal teams on complex cases involving public law, labor law, national security, and government policy. She also developed and launched the Department of Justice's knowledge management program, demonstrating her commitment to knowledge development and mobilization—a fundamental pillar of the ISM's mission.  

Ms. Bouzigon has extensive experience in governance, having served on several boards of directors in the community and residential sectors, including at the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre, where she served on the executive committee and the human resources committee. She also serves on the external audit committee of the Court Services Agency, a Government of Canada entity. She is recognized for her thoroughness, strategic thinking, and ability to support organizations in their development.

Although she does not come from the health sector, her keen interest in research and innovation, combined with her experience in management and governance, make her a valuable ally for the Institut du Savoir Montfort. She wishes to put her skills to work for the ISM in order to support its academic mission and its impact on Francophone communities.
