Can I apply for an internship in another program?
To apply for an internship in another program, please complete the internship application form.

How long before I submit my application?
We recommend a minimum of 2 months before the start of your internship. Applications can be submitted in a shorter time frame, but processing will depend on your educational institution.

Do I need to provide any documentation for my internship?
The teaching team will ask you for immunization documents and a police check. The team will be able to provide you with more information about this following your internship application, if needed.

Where are the administrative interns?
In 2020, the world has changed with the emergence of a new virus now called COVID-19. The world of internships has also changed. In the rush to adapt the way we work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we sent all university administrative interns home to complete their internship.

Praise for Montfort from a research intern
Julie Malatier-Ségard, a 3rd year student at École d’ingénieurs Polytech d’Angers in Angers, specializing in Biological Engineering and Health, completed an internship from May 2 to August 2, 2019 in the research laboratory of Dr. Celine Aguer, a researcher at the Institut du Savoir Montfort (ISM). Julie was coming from the Pays de la Loire region of France.

A better experience within Montfort
Montfort recently acquired a new mammography unit that will double screening volumes and cut patient wait times in half.
The Ontario Breast Screening Program recommends that most women between the ages of 50 and 74 be screened by mammography every two years.

Meet me: Khamis Mabrouka, a 12th grade student at L’Alternative Public High School. I am doing an internship in the Communications Department of Montfort Hospital for a MHS (Specialist High Skills Major) Social Action school program, which is a program that allows learners like me to address issues of human relations, diversity and social justice.
