Doctor Bernadett Kovacs completed her higher education in medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. (1996-2010). She moved to Montreal, Quebec, to complete her internal medicine residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital, a historic institution affiliated with McGill University. (2010-2013). After her residency, she settled in Ottawa, where she pursued a postdoctoral training in intensive care medicine at the University of Ottawa. (20132015).
Dr. Kovacs has additional qualifications. She has obtained training as an instructor in critical and acute incident simulation (SICA), as well as in aeromedical and medical transport. She is currently teaching medical research fellows, as well as residents and medical students in intensive care at The Ottawa Hospital and Montfort Hospital. In her role as a SICA instructor and clinician, she also works at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), on the campuses of Sudbury and Thunder Bay.
Throughout her training, Dr. Kovacs participated in medical research and teaching activities. She is currently pursuing numerous projects.
