Biography

Dr. Céline Fresne graduated with a degree in Medicine from the University of Paris (France), specializing in hepatogastroenterology, as well as a complementary specialty in oncology. She also has a master's degree in genetics-genomics-biotechnology from the University of Western Brittany. (France). She is interested in the epidemiology and prevention of digestive cancers and liver diseases, as well as the health of French speakers living in minority situations. She is a clinician at Montfort Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa, a content expert in genetics, and teaches gastroenterology and genetics at the pre-clerkship level.
