Biography

Daniel Amyot has been a professor in the School of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the University of Ottawa since 2002. His research interests include software engineering, requirements engineering, process modeling, health informatics and regulatory compliance. He has over 160 publications in these fields. Daniel led the standardization of URN (User Requirements Notation) at ITU-T. He has collaborated with several Ontario hospitals on various health informatics modeling and application projects. Daniel holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa (2001 and 1994).
