Biography

Dr El Mostafa Bouattane is Director of Performance, Decision Support and Privacy at Hôpital Montfort. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Mohammed V University, Faculty of Medicine, Morocco, in 1994, and also holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa (2001).Prior to his current role, he worked with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and various hospitals, providing strategic planning, performance management and decision support services. Dr Bouattane has a keen interest in health system transformation and clinical research.

Research interests

• Researcher at IMS and lecturer at the University of Ottawa, research on quality improvement in healthcare. Current research: COVID19 detection using AI, AI and repeat emergency room visits, COVID19 and mental health services, Cardiovascular risks for francophones using cardiac CT, Perinatal health for black francophone women.
