Biography

Jacinthe Savard holds a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Laval University, a master's degree in health services administration, and a doctorate in public health from the University of Montreal. From 1983 to 1996, she worked in the health network in Quebec, holding positions that combined clinical and management responsibilities. Arriving at the University of Ottawa in 1996, she holds a part-time position as a professor at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences and also coordinates research and development at the Interprofessional University Clinic in Primary Health Care, also on a part-time basis. In the occupational therapy program, she teaches the course Occupational Therapy Intervention with Adults (Physical Health) and the course Analysis of Scientific Facts for Occupational Therapy Practice.
