A professor at the School of Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa since 2012, my research interests focus on the effects of aging, both healthy and pathological, mild cognitive impairments, as well as the impact of different intervention modalities on postural balance, fall risks, and mobility. My research program on Parkinson's disease focuses on the role of mild cognitive impairments in postural and locomotion disorders. My research aims, among other things, to develop innovative tools to explain the mechanisms involved in the phenomenon of falling and motor blocking while walking.
