Biography

Dr. Toupin April is an associate professor at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She is affiliated with the Department of Pediatrics and the CHEO Research Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy and has completed graduate studies in public health and epidemiology. She has research expertise in chronic disease management, patient-reported outcome measures, and shared decision-making. Her research includes projects in pediatric and adult rheumatology, particularly regarding the development of decision support interventions.
