Biography

Lysanne Lessard received her PhD in Information Systems from the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. Professor Lessard's research has been funded notably by the NSERC and the SSHRC. Her research focuses on the development of approaches to the design and modeling of knowledge-based service systems. In this context, she examines how organizational actors and ICT generate infrastructures in which information and knowledge are created, shared, and transformed collaboratively. This understanding allows for the creation of innovative and value-generating service systems.
