Miriam Kimpton
Biography
Dr. Miriam Kimpton is a hematologist and researcher in the Division of Hematology, Department of Medicine of the University of Ottawa. She is cross-appointed as an Associate Scientist in the Clinical Epidemiology Program of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and holds the rank of Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She is also the Vice-Chair of the Ottawa Health Science Network Research Ethics Board (OHSN-REB) at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. Dr. Kimpton’s research interests include prophylaxis and treatment of cancer-associated thrombosis, with a special focus on myeloproliferative neoplasms.
