Biography

Mirou Jaana is a full professor at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. She obtained her PhD in health management and policy from the University of Iowa and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at HEC Montreal as part of the Canada Research Chair in Information Technology in Health Care. Her research would be situated at the intersection of healthcare management and medical informatics. Professor Jaana has published articles in top peer-reviewed journals, presented papers at national and international conferences, and has been a member of grant selection committees and editorial boards. She teaches courses in the fields of healthcare management, healthcare quality, health information technology, and program evaluation.
