Biography

Dr. Richard Waldolf is a family physician/anesthesiologist who completed his medical training at the University of Ottawa, where he currently holds the position of assistant professor. He obtained a Fellowship in simulation/medical education at the Skills and Simulation Centre of the University of Ottawa and is currently pursuing a master's degree in medical education at the University of Dundee. He teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Ottawa and is particularly interested in the use of simulation as a teaching modality in the field of emergency medical care. He is currently the director of the simulation program at the Knowledge Institute at Montfort Hospital. He is also an in-situ simulation educator for the patient safety program at the Ottawa Hospital.
