Biography

Dr. Rohit Gandhi is a physician trained in emergency medicine and family medicine from McGill University and the University of Ottawa. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Rohit was a consultant in the Strategy and Operations and Technology Strategy divisions of Deloitte. In the course of his duties at Deloitte, he worked with clients from various sectors. His work included developing business strategies, technology strategy, negotiating with suppliers, organizational redesign, project management, and financial consulting within the largest financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies in Canada, the United States, and Brazil.

Rohit has also worked in the field of healthcare consulting within Deloitte's Enterprise Risk Services group. Among our main clients are the Ministry of Health, Ontario Health Insurance, tertiary hospitals, CIBC Bank, TD Bank, BMO, Scotiabank, Banknorth, Civil Financial Services, GTAA, Banco do Brasil, Four Seasons Hotels, and Loblaw Weston Corporation.

Rohit is currently involved in hospital administration as it relates to resource utilization through physician training, auditing and feedback. He is the author of two first publications in the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine, and continues his research in health economics.
