Dr. Fotsing holds a specialty degree in rheumatology from Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris VI) after completing his medical doctorate at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Furthermore, at the University of Ottawa, Dr. Fotsing is currently completing a master's degree with a thesis in education (M.A.Ed) with a specialization in teaching health professionals. Dr. Fotsing is very committed to teaching healthcare professionals. This is how he has been affiliated for over 5 years as a lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, where he teaches medical externs during clinical reasoning learning activities. (ARC). Also, Dr. Fotsing is a lecturer in the nursing department at the University of Quebec in Outaouais, where he teaches courses in Physical Assessment, Pathophysiology, and Quantitative Research Methods.
Currently with Francophone Affairs at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Fotsing is Manager of Research in Medical Education. He contributes greatly not only to the quality of teaching, but also to the development of French-language medical education research at the Faculty of Medicine.
