Biography

Member of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Ottawa. Sophie Lebel holds a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Montreal and is currently an associate professor at the School of Psychology in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa. His research focuses particularly on the psychological adjustment of individuals with cancer as well as their caregivers. She is particularly interested in the adjustment of the survival phase and examines various difficulties faced by patients at this stage of their illness, such as the fear of recurrence, sexual issues, body image, adjustment between partners, and the stigma associated with the disease.
