Biography

Dr. Valerie Giroux completed her MD at McGill University (2005-2010) and her residency in psychiatry at Université Laval (2010-2015).  She completed a fellowship at the University of Western Ontario in women's mental health during pregnancy and postpartum (2015). She has been practicing as a psychiatrist at I 'Hôpital Montfort since January 2016 and opened the perinatal psychiatry consultation and follow-up service at Montfort. She is head of the outpatient program at I 'Hôpital Montfort.
