Biography

Wojtek Michalowski, Ph.D., is a full professor in health informatics. He has held the position of Vice-Dean (Research) at the Telfer School of Management since July 2015. In addition to being one of the founding members of the MET Research Lab at the University of Ottawa, he holds a position as an adjunct research professor at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University. During the 1997-1998 academic year, he served as a research fellow at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Austria. In 2013, the President of the Republic of Poland awarded him the title of State Professor, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of research. This honor, the highest distinction awarded to researchers in Poland, comes from the recommendation of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
