Alain Gauthier

Biography

Alain Gauthier (Ph.D.) is a Full Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at Laurentian University. He was Acting Director of the Centre for Environmental and Northern Health Research (CRaNHR) (2017-2019) and chaired the committee responsible for the development of the Laurentian Strategic Research Plan (2019-2024). He is a founding member of GRIPOAS (Groupe de recherche interdisciplinaire sur les pratiques d’offre active de services en français). Dr. Gauthier is also a public health consultant for Sudbury and District Public Health and has interests in research related to healthy lifestyle habits.
