Dr. Anawati is a francophone community family doctor with active privileges at Montfort Hospital. She graduated from the University of Ottawa’s gold medal medical program in 2010 and is continuing her studies in family medicine by completing her residency at the Montfort Hospital in 2012. She is presently the director of the clerkship program – francophone component, a member of Francophone Affairs and an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Her community practice is general and focuses on the determinants of health that stem from her experience as a social worker. Recipient of the Faculty of Medicine Collaborator Award in 2017, Dr. Anawati enjoys working with students and preceptors in the francophone community to highlight the important role they play in patient care and the advancement of medical education. She is also interested in collaborative clinical development and community-based inter-professionalism on chronic disease.
