Junior Research Chair in Family Medicine
This program offers a transformative approach to clinical care and medical education in family medicine by designing, implementing and evaluating AI-based tools that are practical, equitable and scalable. Led by Dr. Kheira Jolin-Dahel, the program covers clinical decision support, microlearning, simulation and AI-based feedback. Each project is designed in collaboration with end-users and integrated into real-world contexts, ensuring its relevance and sustainability. In line with the Faculty's strategic priorities, this work positions the University of Ottawa as a leader in digital innovation, while training a new generation of clinicians and researchers ready to use AI in their daily practice.
