Our mission: to facilitate research at Montfort and improve healthcare through rigorous, collaborative, and innovative projects.

1. Starting a Project : Do you have a research idea? We can help you bring it to life. Our services include:

• A meeting to discuss your idea and needs;

• Support in writing your proposal or protocol;

• Advice on administrative and ethical procedures (e.g., ethics committee, institutional authorizations);

• Assistance with planning the project, timelines, and required resources.

2. Funding Applications : Our team can assist you throughout the grant or scholarship application process. We can help you:

• Identify relevant funding opportunities and make an active offer to researchers.

• Review and critically analyze your grant or scholarship application.

• Review and analyze the budget and its justification.

• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations, including the establishment of research teams at Montfort.

• Liaise with the library for document searches and literature reviews.

• Facilitate access to patient records and archives (in accordance with policies and ethics approval).

3. Methodological and Statistical Support : Our experts can help you choose the right research approach and analyze your data. We offer:

• Advice on research design and methods;

• Statistical analysis and interpretation of results;

• Support with database management and structuring.

We work in collaboration with the ISM biostatistician to ensure the scientific rigor of your analyses.

4. Facilitating the Implementation of Funded Projects : Once your funding is secured, the ISM supports you to ensure the successful implementation of your project. We offer:

• Access to "floating" offices for research staff.

• Administrative support for hiring and managing research staff.

• Support in drafting or reviewing legal agreements (transfer of funds, data, or materials).

• Liaison with procurement services.

• Review of reports required by funders.

• Advice and review of applications and reports from the ethics committee(s).

• Support in participant recruitment and the development of appropriate strategies.

We ensure that your projects comply with institutional, legal, and ethical requirements.

5. Writing and Dissemination : We also support you in writing and promoting your results:

• Reviewing and formatting articles, abstracts, or scientific posters;

• Support in preparing presentations or video clips;

• Assistance in disseminating results to the general public, decision-makers, and community partners on our platforms and social media.
