Valérie Giroux

Biography

Dr. Valerie Giroux obtained her doctoral degree in medicine from McGill University (2005-2010) and completed her residency in psychiatry at the Université Laval (2010-2015).  She completed a fellowship in women’s mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period at Western University in London, Ontario (2015). She has practised psychiatry at Hôpital Montfort since January 2016 and opened the perinatal psychiatric consultation and monitoring service at Montfort. She is the ambulatory program manager at Hôpital Montfort.
